Piedmont Driving Club Reception
Celebrating 50 Years of Marriage with
Flowers of White, Green & Pink
Piedmont Driving Club, Atlanta, GA

The corsage and boutonniere were made from stephanotis and ivy leaf - simple elegance!

The cake was a show piece covered in sugar flowers. On the table were the silver candelabra,
mint dish and military sword from 50 years ago along with a photo of the newlyweds
cutting their wedding cake with the sword.

The celebration featured a grand buffet with a large
centerpiece on DGL’s rental 3-arm candelabra.

The buffet arrangement on the 3-armed candelabra was made using white and green hydrangea, pink and
white roses and pink lily. The bride’s portrait from her wedding day 50 years prior was displayed on the
stage at the Driving Club with the mantel draped in matching flowers and southern smilax.

The Driving Club ballroom with Venetian chandeliers is a beautiful space for special celebrations.

Mirrors in the ballroom were draped with southern smilax greenery and the guest
tables held abundant arrangements in rental silver trumpets, compotes and bowls.

DGL’s large collection of rental silver compotes held broad arrangement of
white and green hydrangea, pink and white roses and pink stargazer lily.

Our silver 3-footed bowl held an arrangement on a guest table centerpiece. The beautiful cake featured
hundreds of handmade sugar flowers crafted by the pastry chef at the Piedmont Driving Club.
